I've never had their pizza myself, but my father ate their pizza when he was growing up in East Dearborn in the 80s, so they must be doing something right! Im just here to say, PLEASE start serving a bomb Italian espresso so we can all enjoy it! Our neighborhood cafés espresso is just average these days. Give us the authentic bold flavor Italians enjoy please!

Took my kids here after swimming at a nearby pool, we tried their large cheese pizza and large fries. The pizza was amazing! Definitely stands above any other local pizza place in the area. Highly recommend to give them a try. 10/10

Full disclosure: Like so many pizza snobs of a certain age in the Dearborn area, I've known Sal (DeMarco) forever (mid '70's). One of us wasn't even shaving when we met (7th grade). What'ya want from me? I was fair-haired then and not Italian. I digress. Here's the thing: I can't expect you to swallow that I'm giving an objectively glowing review here. I've known this guy fifty-plus years now and he made God-knows-how-many pizzas for my mother over the course of my decades away out West. Since I've been back, stopping in for some pizza and good-'ole-days BS with Sal satisfies me beyond words. Recently, he and I did a rough calculation on how many pies he's crafted since opening his first pizza place at 18 in our old East Dearborn neighborhood (he's long-since set up shop on the West side). After checking the math twice on my saucy fingers, the number we came up with was upwards of 2,000,000. No exaggeration. 100-plus pies a day on average, 360-plus days a year, for the past 46. Sal Demarco's pizza: Since 1980, some 2 million served. Hand-tossed one at a time, by the man himself (and nowadays, his sons, too). And I knew him when, before the first one. Been living by the place 5 years and just tried them last week. AMAZING!! Ordered again today. Might make it a weekly treat. Crust was thin, light, not greasy, and cooked to perfection. Sauce was delicious, and full of homemade authentic flavor. Toppings were perfectly balanced and generous. Got the Deluxe for us and Halal pepperoni for the kids. Everyone smashed! Thank you for providing amazing food.
